Lovely room, had a very traditional rustic lodge feel to it. Very modern bathroom with good shower. Staff were super friendly. We took advantage of the afternoon snack that was laid on. The views of the snow capped mountains and nearby hillside pasture are stunning. We took a short walk and found a woodland park area which was very peaceful. We had drinks in the bar after our walk and had dinner in the restaurant in the evening (beware the menu is only written in German but we managed with translator app). Lovely breakfast. Very friendly people. We thought their use of small jars a good idea, saves wasting food.

The cleanliness is perfect, the rooms and the whole hotel are immaculately maintained, with daily cleaning. The breakfast is excellent, in addition a light afternoon snack has been thought of after the day's dynamic skiing experiences. Skiers and cyclists have been specially thought of and a special room is provided with wardrobes, a bench and a small work table with tools. In the price, you also get a covered warm garage, where you can park safely. All this is complemented by discreet, smiling and kind service and attention from the staff. This was our second stay here as it is a lovely comfortable hotel for a week’s ski holiday. The staff are all very friendly and do everything to make your stay as good as possible. Great breakfast and a regular shuttle to the Flims cable car. The outdoor hot tub was a real highlight.

Everything at the Waldhaus was absolute perfection. We stayed here for four nights for our honeymoon and were so overwhelmed with the beauty of the property and the surrounding landscape, the friendliness and care of the staff, and the old world charm of this historic hotel. From the moment we arrived at the Waldhaus, we were greeted warmly by the staff and owners of the property. Our room was so well appointed and had the most amazing view of Lake Sils. The turn down service every evening made returning to our room after dinner like returning home. The food is delicious (you have to do the half board option!!) and the nightly menus kept things interesting and fresh. The spa was beyond anything we had ever enjoyed before, with a steam room, sauna, soaking pools, and relaxation rooms. We went on a hike through the Fex Valley and were in awe of everything we saw. It was like being transported back in time with all the modern conveniences and amenities included. Though I'm happy to be home, I will always miss the Waldhaus.

Loved that it is located part of a small town up in the mountains Suite was modern & spacious Staff were really friendly, they spoke English and German, shout to Rosa from italy & her colleagues at the resturant. Shout out to Heike at reception 👏 It is a dog friendly hotel, it was nice seeing them around. We ate at the hotel daily, food was yummy. They took care of us as we were celebrating our second mini honeymoon and they offered us a small cake and chocolates with a hand written note. Room service is done twice a day which is cool There is an underground garage for cars. Spa and staff were amazing They provide you with water in the room, coffee and tea, hiking backbag and umbrellas.
